The Urgency's 2005 Concert History

The Urgency was formed in the winter of 2005, but its roots go back much deeper than that. Founding members Ian Molla and Kevin Coffrin grew up in Vermont and have been writing and playing together in various bands spanning as far back as 1997. Both were accepted into the prestigious jazz program at Ithaca college in 2001 to better their understanding of music and their instruments. Here is where the duo met fellow jazz performance major Guerin Blask , and each member honed and built upon their jazz and classical theory knowledge.
