The Sweet Kings brand of quasi-traditional ska is great dance music, but if you close your eyes for just a few seconds, you might just be wisked away to a tropical paradise, margarita in hand, in a hammock between two coconut trees swaying to the beat. The 7 piece band is easy to notice, but what you'll be happy to not notice is any attempt at being a crossover punk or rock band; its all ska.
