Formed 2015 in Saarbrücken, THE SPIRIT have emerged from the depth of the German extreme metal void to breathe new life into the black/death metal genre. After releasing their debut album „Sounds From The Vortex“ through their own label, Eternal Echoes, in October 2017, the band quickly caught the attention of Nuclear Blast who re-released the album and made it available for a bigger audience in summer 2018 after the previous edition had already gone out of print.
