this eight-piece band from baltimore blends ska, punk & rock to a catchy dance-able sound. They have two albums: "very own vegas" (1995) and "no brakes" (1998). Unfortunally they broke up which explains their underrated status today. They are considered third wave of ska; the wave where ska, punkrock en pop fused and bands explored the boundries of blending these genres. The smooths can be called one of the best when it comes to this abbility with an inventive, sincere approach to music.
