The Red Letter began as a solo project by James Thomas. His rhythmically rich background acquired from over a decade of drumming experience plays a key role in the organic experience of his singer/songwriter style. The project began in James' jam studio in his hometown of Haymarket, VA. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis' School of Architecture, he spent the summer of 2010 compiling the album "Let There be Here". The arduous time alone recording was offset by the enjoyment of jamming with hometown friends...
