The Rebel Set started in 2006 originally as a three piece. Formed around the unique surf guitar playing off their guitarist vocalist Joe Zimmerman; they combine a love of 60s garage and surf with early punk and 90s lo-fi. Zimmerman and drummer Jeff Doing have gone through a few other members to arrive at their current four piece made with the additional members Katey Trowbridge on keyboards and Brandon Goehner on bass.
