The Protocol is back with a diverse sophomore full length released on artist-friendly upstart label Parlor Records titled “Recess”. Aptly named for its double entendre, the album is a journey through the indie pop, pop punk and pop rock genres. The Protocol hails from Seattle, Washington and, drawing from its Seattle-influenced sound, The Protocol indeed clicks "with just one click!" "Recess" bookends with the dreamy guitar riff laden "The Words You Didn't Say" and "You and I.
