MacGowan left the band in 1991 due to drinking problems but the band continued first with Joe Strummer and then with Spider Stacy on vocals before breaking up in 1996. The band, including MacGowan, reformed in 2001 and has been playing regularly ever since. While the band has not released an album since 1996...

Black Reacher Nov 30, 2023

I saw The Pogues three times in New York. I think it was at their Palladium show that House of Love opened for them. Joe Strummer was with them the last time. The first time I saw them Luka Bloom opened. Around that time, he did a set at Continental Divide, an intimate little East Village bar on 3rd & St Marks. Really atmospheric. I think he opened with "Dreams In America." Wow!
