The Peelies Concert History

The Peelies are an all-girl band equally inspired by their moms and Snatch (as in Patty Palladin's band, not the movie.) They've been playing together for under a year, and still managed to gather quite the following. It must be their Raincoats-like swagger, or maybe their perfect mix of French yéyé, punk technique (or lack of) and garage sing-along melodies. For some reason, each time they put on a show, the crowd starts chanting "We are the world, we are The Peelies" in perfect harmony. We believe it's magic.
