The Parlor was so named to honor the room in the haunted 19th century farmhouse in Upstate New York, where Jen and Eric write and record all of their music. Performing and recording under the name We are Jeneric for more than five years, Our Day in the Sun is the first release by Eric Krans and Jen O'Connor under the name The Parlor.
