The Painter And The Canvas Concert History

The Painter and The Canvas is a Baltimore-based post-hardcore band from the minds of Mike Cohn, Brad Beavers, and Jordan Klein. Formed in September 2008, the band resurfaced from a previous failed collaboration and, after adding close friend Jose Martinez on keys, began writing material for what would become their first EP, "You Are The Progress". Drummer Evan Chapman joined the group in mid-November 2008, followed closely by bassist Jon Hafferman. Due to musical and idealistic differences, Jon left the band to be replaced by Mike Semler.
