Started in early spring 2005 The Obligate wanted to make heavy,brutal music that mixed their influences yet shows originality. Playing with many Touring Artists in their home state of connecticut such as As Blood Runs Black, Deicide, Emmure, Sworn Enemy, My Bitter End and Anapparatus just to name a few they have made a name for themselves in the new england metal scene is just short for years. Influenced by but not limited to The Acacia Strain, A Thousand Falling Skies...
