The New Alcindors Concert History

Formed in Pittsburgh around the turn of the century, the New Alcindors were inspired by instrumental soul providers from the 60s and 70s, like Booker T. & the MGs, the Meters and countless obscure one-off combos, as well as later groups like the James Taylor Quarter. Originally formed as a three-piece, the band eventually grew to a horn-driven, seven-person band. The Future Is Our Only Goal was recorded in Nashville, Tennesse at the Castle Recording Studios in September 2004.
