Named after the Isaac Asimov novel that encourages free thinking, social awareness, and genuine, human relationships, The Naked Sun is a four-piece rock band based out of Philadelphia. Its members grew up within minutes of each other on the Jersey side of the Delaware River, but they didn't come together as a band until January of 2012, when singer/songwriter Drew Harris left Baltimore and his "streetgrass" project called Cityslides for the burgeoning roots rock scene in South Philadelphia.
