The Mies is an underground artist who is greatly influenced by bums, alcholics, low-lifes and that kind of sub-culture. His influences are clearly visible in his songs Spurgulahti and Spurgu-Maija Kebabasta which translate into Bum bay and Bum-Mary from Kebaba. The Mies was formed in 1999 and was active until 2002 after which the man behind the alias The Mies moved on to a side-project, which had gotten his main-focus, called Moisty George.
