Michael Gungor, of Denver, Colorado United States is a Christian worship music singer/song writer. His most noted work is the Dove nominated song of the year: “Friend of God” which he co-authored with Israel Houghton. Another song he co-authored with Houghton is "Say So". Gungor is also known for his involvement in the Teen Mania's Acquire the Fire: Battle Cry conferences as the worship leader. Currently, he leads worship is various churches throughout United States and also leads the Michael Gungor Band.
