The Meds are currently in production of their first major release under the production of Canadian music icon Matt Mays. Studio sessions began in December 2009 when Mays, the Meds and engineer Darren Van Niekerk lived and recorded in a beach-side cottage in East Berlin, Nova Scotia. In 2010 the band travelled to San Fransisco, CA to record vocals for the 12 track album. Tracking on the album continued over the summer and fall of 2011 at the studio of Tim-Jim Baker in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia, and at Sonic Temple in Halifax.
