The Maureens are a jangly indie rock band, established in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in 2012. Richly arranged and inspired by bands such as Big Star, The Posies, The Beach Boys and perhaps Holland's own Daryll-Ann, front man Hendrik-Jan de Wolff writes melodic, melancholy indie rock.
