The Mau Maus Concert History

Not to be confused with the UK's Mau Maus, The Mau Maus formed in Los Angeles in 1978 from the ashes ot The Berlin Brats, playing like all essential grassroots outfits of the early LA punk scene at Brendan Mullen's illegal basement club 'The Masque' in Hollywood. They have a very early, rock'n'roll based, protopunk, New York Dolls kind of sound and swagger.
