The Marshmallow Overcoat's 1984 Concert History

1) This garage-psychedelic rock band from sunny Arizona was founded in Tucson, in 1986 by vocalist Timothy Gassen (Died November 29, 2019), also known under the pseudonym "Randy Love". They are often attributed to the Paisley Underground scene and to the neo-psychedelia genre, but the latter is not entirely true, because Overcoats play a real garage of the 60s: with fuzz, overdrive and hypnotic, energetic vocals. The band's name was inspired by a dialogue from Martin Scorsese's documentary "The Last Waltz".
