The Love X Nowhere makes San Francentric music that drops like sparks from the Muni lines on a rainy night. On Odyssey, their second EP, TLXN finds themselves amidst an evolution of shoegaze and dream rock. A big lush one-sound coming forth from guitars heavy with the sway of chorus and delays, analog synth sounds as though from previous incarnations, and solid grooves that never lead the listener astray. Two vocalists who wind their way through harmony and melody, reminiscint of a bridge between Pink Floyd and Slowdive.
