The Hinges formed on October 21, 2006 in Charlotte NC. The band comprises Matt Susong (vocals, guitar), Chris Norkus (drums), Joel Turner (lead guitar), Alex Warner (keyboard/synth, guitar, backing vocals), and Matt Perry (bass, backing vocals). Since their inception, the band has mostly played shows in and around North Carolina in Raleigh, Charlotte, Chapel Hill and Asheville. Their debut album, Odyssey Stage, came out in 2007.
