The Hacienda Brothers were an Americana project featuring guitarist Dave Gonzalez, David Berzansky, Hank Maninger, Dale Daniel and the band's late vocalist, Chris Gaffney who died of cancer at age 57 in 2008. The group dubbed their music "Western soul". The last album from the group, "Arizona Motel," released in June 2008 on the Proper label was recorded at Cavern Recording Studios on Dodge Boulevard in Tucson AZ. The Hacienda Brothers originally formed in Tucson Az to play a 40th birthday party for friend and fellow musician Jeb Schoonover.
