The Gateway Complex's origins started not in Ohio but within southern Indiana. We had not formed but was in the process of coming to be through the lives of Josh Dobay and Andrew Leach. The two played across the state of Indiana seeking the dream of touring and playing music for the rest of their days but sadly Indiana held nothing for them at the time. Josh has family here in Ohio and he knew the area fairly well but enough to know that greater opportunities awaited.
