The Files & Fires (also listed as The Files & Fires on last.fm) is Tyler J. Smith, Ian Tait, and Michael Howard. Formed in Connecticut in late 2006, the two have been joined by (and left by) a number of outside musicians; currently performing live with drummer Mike Howard, bassist Danny Semenza and guitarist Peter Recine.
