Although sonically nondescript, Fauves' song are typically wry, ironic, hyper-literate, biopsies of the broadest range of topics. Comprised of four school friends: Andrew Dyer, Adam Newey, Andrew Cox and Phil Leonard, the Fauves emerged from one of Melbourne's grittier suburbs, Frankston only to find major label support early in their career.
