More familiar with the Decemberists than Bill Monroe, with firmer allegiance to Nirvana than Flatt and Scruggs, the Deciders are doing their best to reconcile these polarities. On the surface, the Deciders are a bluegrass band. However, you'll find no (sincere) references to the high lonesome sound here; rather, fascinations with gentrification, fashion, pornography and pop culture abound. For, this is the world in which these "city-fied" twenty-somethings live.
