The Darkest Day (Not to be confused with Darkest Day) is a Franco-russian blues duo that is not shy of some hard rock or death metal. The band consists of Quentin Caudron (Guitars, vocals & noisemaking, recording, producing) and Evgeny Romanov (Guitars, vocals, programming). Most songs the band does are improvised on the spot, with lyrics and music made up on the go, and are recorded on the first take which contributes to their unusual lo-fi blues sound.
