The Dark Wave is a contemporary post-punk / new wave band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 2019 by guitarist Erwin van der Zee, they mainly made adaptations of classic post-punk songs from the 1970s and 1980s, but by 2023 they were working on their own material. Their debut single, 'Seventeen', came out in December 2024 on Wallboomers Music.
