After an unlikely connection bought Ashleigh and Jonny together, they formed The Clockwork Droids in April 2008. An experimental acoustic project, it merges covers from a wide and surprising range of musical genres with original songs of a similarly experimental style. The performances are something between jamming and polished performance with other musicians joining ad hoc and a visual influence of a Steampunk style merge between the old and the new.
