There was this one, special moment, when Juri picked up his acoustic guitar in our rehearsal room, that freaked me out. He just strummed around a bit with the volume control off, then suddenly turned the volume on and hit the strings with a g-major. In that instant I was totally awake. You know, really awake, one moment where you are truly aware that you’re alive. There was nothing really special about what Juri was doing, he just played a simple chord, but I wasn’t prepared for the loudness.
