The Casting Couch combines the creative instrumentation of Athens with the strong songwriting tradition of Austin, Texas. Led by ex-Athenian songwriter and singer Wendy Mitchell, The Casting Couch was formed in Austin when Mitchell hooked up with fellow former-Athenian multi-instrumentalist Lynn Boland.
