The Carter Manoeuvre formed while attending the University Of Warwick, eventually migrating to Leamington Spa. They initially went by the name 'Interloper', changed to 'The Carter Manoeuvre' in 2005. They broke up in 2008, with their final gig at the Birmingham Bar Academy. Their music is a fusion of progressive rock mixed with the raw energy and experimental aspects from influences such as 'Radiohead', 'Bloc Party' and 'Broken Social Scene'.
