The Burlesque is an indie rock band from Hamburg, Germany. Initially it was a jamming and recording project started by Ulrich Himstedt in Kiel, Germany in the summer of 2004. Drummer John Hufenbach joined the project in 2007. Since 2008, the Burlesque rehearsed and recorded as a band with Mathias Leonhardt on the bass and Tim Jaacks on the guitar.
