The Ascent of Everest formed in the spring of 2005 in the shadows of Music City USA (Nashville, Tennessee). Since then the band has worked tirelessly touring and playing regional shows in support of their 2006 release "How Lonely Sits the City" (the re-master of which was released June 30, 2008 by the SHELSMUSIC label). In 2009 the band released a split CD\LP with We All Inherit the Moon. Their second full length album "From This Vantage" was released June 1st 2010 through Shelsmusic (CD) and Future Recordings (VINYL).
