The Ames Concert History

The Ames are a three piece band from Bellingham, Washington. They combine a keen sense of tradition, mixing elements of blues and folk to produce a sound that moves from quiet to rockin', sometimes in the same song! Theirs is an eclectic kind of music you might have heard in an English pub in the early 1970's or on Bourbon Street in New Orleans last week. Includes a lead singer who plays barroom piano, banjo, harmonica and, get this, a kazoo. And rounded out by a tight, tight rhythm section. Fans of Tom Waits take note.
