The Afterthoughts are/were a band from Ayrshire, Scotland. The line-up changed over the years, but the two consistent members were brothers Gary (guitar/vocals) and Martyn (bass and guitar) Sargenson. Others joined and left the band, including Simon Lyell (bass, also played guitar on some tracks in early shows) Euan Murray (drums) Stephen Scott (drums) and Paul Stockman (bass).
