The Act of Estimating As Worthless began in the summer of 2009 in Croton on Hudson, NY, when Matt & Zoe decided to write some songs. With influences like A Weather, Mirah, Laura Stevenson and the Cans, and Volume Pedals they have been quoted to sound like "riding your bike on a fall day or making an awesome fort and sitting in it with all the lights off."
