Leah Abramson's new folk-noir project from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Formerly of traditional folk bands Dyad, The Crooked Jades, and indie-rockers Octoberman, she plays haunting folk-noir originals about Truck Drivers, lost love and old maids. The Abramson Singers make memorable melodies and combine them with killer harmonies and an elegant (and heartbreaking) turn of phrase. As featured recently in fRoots Magazine, Leah Abramson is influenced by American old-time music and classic songwriters of the 60s and 70s.
