From 2018 to January 2024 they were called Kalaallit Nunaat, but the band decided to change their name as per 25 January 2024: "Recently, we learned there were some concerns regarding our band name. Kalaallit Nunaat (the indigenous name for Greenland) is a land with a rich but also loaded history. We understand that this is a sensitive topic, which has lead us to the decision to change our band name."...
