Syd Hartha, whose real name is Sonia del Rosario, was born on December 18, 2002, in Manila, Philippines. She grew up in a musically inclined family and was exposed to music at a young age. Syd learned to play the guitar when she was 11 years old, and by the time she was a teenager, she had started writing her own songs.
