Surfin Serf is the music of Byron Lynch. He describes it as "Michael Jackson Kinsella fronting Dismemberment Plan circa 2000." From summer of 2010, It has become a four-piece band with Russell Harrisson on guitar, synthesizer, and voice, McCarty Johnson on bass and voice, and Jorgen Trygved on drums.
