The career of music producer, musician and artist Stone Mecca has gone through several evolutionary changes. He began his career in hip hop, doing studio work with the likes of Ice Cube, Mack 10, Ant Banks, E-40 and Snoop Dogg. Then in 2007, he built a 9 piece soul/funk band and toured with RZA aka Bobby Digital to support his debut album First Contact. Stone Mecca's first single The Walk was featured in the 2nd episode of Spike TV's animated show, Afro Samurai, as well as the television show's soundtrack produced by RZA.
