Each starting our musical careers in various bands around Wollongong, singer Val Shoukry (ex Lost in Line, Val plus 1, Last) noticed an apparent lack of ska music in the area and proceeded to hunt down other ska lovers particularly those with a strong musical background. He had a few in mind and picked up Brendan Cairns (ex Self Titled), Tyson Peters (ex Hornography), Ray Piatek (ex Out of Focus, Broken Collection), Mush (ex Out of Focus) and Faulkner (ex Self Titled, Last).
