States // [and] Capitals (started April 2015), made up by Richie Arthur and Jeff Maurer, are an American Pop/Rock band from New Jersey. Lead vocalist Richie Arthur is also the songwriter/producer, and drummer Jeff takes care of programming and producing as well. After being in 3 bands together in over 6 years time, Arthur/Maurer decided to create States // Capitals out of their basements in Wyckoff and North Brunswick, New Jersey in fall of 2014.
