Originally started around 2004, State of Unrest is an Atlanta based band that plays a blend of styles. From New York Hardcore to reggae, funk to punk, and some ska thrown in for good measure. State of Unrest finds influence and inspiration from groups such as Bad Brains, Mephiskapheles, Fishbone, Sick of It All, and the Melvins to name just a few.
