Starpost is an Alternative Rock band from Nuremberg, Germany. The band consists of David “Dato” Gabelaia (Lead Vocals, Rhodes Piano, Guitar, Synths/Keyboard, Kaoss Pad), Rodney Perez (Guitar, Backing Vocals, Kaoss Pad, Synths), Alex Schlaja (Bass Guitar, Synths/Keyboard, Backing Vocals) and David “Dadi” Meister (Drums, Percussions, Beats and Loops).After some failed attempts at having a full line-up, Starpost was finally formed in 2008 and released their first independent EP “The Future is Now” in January 2009.
