Sportique were an indie super-group, fronted by Gregory Webster of the Razorcuts, with Mark Flunder from the Television Personalities and Rob Pursey and Amelia Fletcher from Heavenly. Debut single "The Kids Are Solid Gold" made John Peel's Festive Fifty in 1998, and was followed by an album "Black Is A Very Popular Colour" in March 1999 on Matinée Recordings.
