Spirit Of St. Louis was a Dutch pop/rock outfit from the town of Leiden, best known for their 1974 hit single 'Down By The Radio' (#17 in the Dutch Top 40). Founded in 1969 by brothers Arthur and Roland de Leeuw, the group released five singles in total (no album), but all other singles failed to chart. The band called it quits in 1978.
