Spirit House, a dark electronic project, was formed as a duo in 2011 by Ameena Lacey (Cold Metal, The White Woods) and John Bowers (Stella Grace). Joining the bill are Lisa Feuer (black tape for a blue girl, Human Drama), and Jeremy Viet (DJ adamnation/nolongerhuman). Influences range from Scott Walker, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, to Depeche Mode, The XX, and M83. Ameena Lacey's lyrics speak to the universal human experience - love and passion, turmoil, the search for meaning and identity.
